Worth the investment! A lovely nurturing process from start to finish. When booking, the questionnaire makes sure your shoot aligns with your vision and taste. Then we had a lovely phone call to prep us for the day. Then Luca was absolutely incredible to shoot with and was so patient with my dog and 6 month old. We then selected our images with the incredible Alysha. She was understanding of our budget and vision and worked with us on finding the best value for what our budget allowed. The perfect way to capture any milestone moment.

We had been thinking about a family photoshoot for over 10 years but never got around to booking it. We won a voucher from a raffle which was the motivation we needed! We booked the session with a little hesitation as my family are not very confident in front of a camera & you can usually see the nerves on their faces in the photos. From moment we got there & met photographer MJ we were put at ease. It was a fun session with lots laughs, being silly & the kids had a great time being themselves. So excited to see the photos at the design session with Alysha & we were not disappointed. MJ is so talented & captured our family so well, the joy, love, fun & who they genuinely are it was so hard to decide. So hard to narrow it down but Alyssa’s guidance & patience helped us get some gorgeous images we will enjoy for years. Overall the talented people & beautiful studio exceeded all our expectations. Would highly recommend.

Our experience at Verve Portraits in Alexandria was incredible. From Jason our photographer who made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera to Alysha our designer who helped us choose our photos. We have been back to Verve 3 times now and we would definitely use them again. I highly recommend the team and Verve Portraits.

I won a raffle for a photoshoot that was kindly donated by Possum Portraits following the loss of our firstborn daughter. I was quite excited to be able to include a photo of our daughter and her teddy bear in our shoot to honour her memory. Although we are truly grateful for our photographer Luiza for capturing such beautiful images for us, as well as for our complimentary framed art, I am quite disappointed that we weren't able to purchase additional digital images. We have very limited photos of our daughter, and it would have been absolutely lovely to be able to add at least 10-15 digital images out of the 40 that we got to view, which honours her memory but also celebrates my current pregnancy with our rainbow baby. Sadly, given our circumstances we just couldn't afford to purchase extra digital copies. I'm going on unpaid maternity leave in a few weeks so even the option for a payment plan wasn't feasible for us. For that, it was quite a bittersweet experience overall.
