I rarely leave negative reviews, but after a year, my husband and I still cannot forget how uncomfortable this experience was. We paid so much for a newborn photography session at the photographer’s home studio, expecting a warm and professional experience for our first family photos. From the moment we arrived, the photographer’s demeanour felt serious and unwelcoming, which made us uncomfortable. Although the contract was provided beforehand, we were reminded during the session that we were not permitted to leave the designated studio room, which added to the unease. When we asked whether an additional family member could join the session for an extra fee, the photographer’s demeanour became noticeably more guarded. The overall atmosphere felt tense and stressful rather than reassuring. Due to having our newborn present, we chose not to raise concerns at the time. However, the experience left a lasting negative impression. Based on our experience, we would not return and non of our family member would want that experience. PS: We chose to have a newborn session to capture how precious our baby was at that time. Unfortunately, instead of joyful memories, the photos now remind us of the uncomfortable experience we had during the session. We encourage new parents to choose carefully when deciding who to trust with such irreplaceable moments, as time cannot be reversed and babies grow so quickly.

*Attitude and Newborn Handling* I would agree with the previous negative review. She was snappy and unwelcoming when we arrived for our maternity photo session. Although she mellowed down towards the end of the session, we should have taken it as a red flag and should have not come back. Unfortunately, we have booked a maternity and newborn photography bundle. The last thing you would want to hear is clicks and clacks to your 2 week old when repositioning hands and feet. It is noticeable as it wasn't only me who heard it - others in the room also did. As my baby was quite unsettled, her ways of settling my child felt uncomfortable, she also placed an eye mask (to help settle my newborn) which have left a very bad skin reaction to my child (still proceeded despite telling her my child doesn't like anything covering the face). It was bad that I had to go to the doctors. It was hard to even look at the photos afterward, as they reminded me of how uncomfortable my newborn was during the session. As a returning customer, we chose her again because of the positive experience we had four years ago when she was gentle and careful with our newborn at that time(other child). We didn’t mind traveling quite a distance, as we had relocated, but this time was a completely different experience, and it was nothing short of upsetting. I will not be recommending this photographer. Please choose carefully on who to trust when handling your newborn. As parents, we’re already recovering from childbirth, and the last thing we need is to endure situations like this.
