I never thought i would want a photographer at my mums funeral ….. until I did. I realised there would be people there that hadn’t seen each other in years. There would be special moments never to be had again. And as this was a celebration of my beautiful mums life, and the bringing together of those who loved her, it was possibly one of ”the” most special days ever ❤️ But I knew I needed a very special photographer. One with a calmness and ability to capture things without people realising. Someone who would be respectful and yet bring a warmth to our day. I can’t thank Daniel Man for what he gave us that day enough 🙏🏻 I can only say I will cherish those moments more than most photos I have. With the help of his Son Josh , southern exposure are a true family business, that represents everything you want when dealing with happy or delicate situations. Dan is an amazing photographer. He has been capturing beautiful memories of my kids and I for the last 10 years. He has been my photographer for milestone events such as new born photo shoots, wedding and family gatherings. I personally hate having my photo taken, but with Dan there, he makes me feel relaxed, I can honestly say I love the photos he has taken of me. He has the ability to capture my kids personalities on film. When I look back at the photos Dan has taken over the years I am transported back to the time and place, I can even hear the laughter that was had at the shoot. I highly recommend Dan.

We’ve been lucky enough to have several photography sessions with Southern Exposure Photography over the years, and every time they manage to capture beautiful, priceless moments with our family. Dan and Josh make the entire process feel easy and relaxed from start to finish. Their professionalism, expertise and genuine warmth make the whole experience enjoyable rather than stressful. Our family photos include ages ranging from 8 to 83, and somehow they manage to capture everyone so naturally. My mum is famously hard to photograph, but Dan and Josh managed to nail it multiple times! We’re so grateful for the memories they’ve captured for us over the years.
