Good developing, but poor logistics Honestly, I was quite disappointed with this lab. While the quality of the developing and scanning is very good, their logistics leave a lot to be desired. I developed a couple of C41 rolls and one E6 roll that I sent by mail from Busselton (I was really excited about this one because it was an expensive roll I bought in Japan, and it was my first time using this type). For the C41 rolls, the developing and scanning time matched what they advertised on their website. However, for the E6 roll, I had to reach out after two weeks because I hadn’t received the download link. They told me they were waiting for a shipment from a supplier. I asked them that if they weren’t going to meet the estimated timeframe, they should send the roll back along with the other negatives, as I was about to leave the country in a few days. They told me I would receive the scan link the next day. That didn’t happen—they sent it a few days later. Meanwhile, I asked them to please send my negatives via express shipping so they would arrive before my flight. They replied saying they needed an address to send them to (which they had already asked for in the development form when I paid for the service). At the same time, I received a notification from Australia Post about a shipment created by the lab, so I assumed they had found my address in the form and had already sent all the negatives. It turns out I did receive a package, but it only contained one of all the rolls I had sent—and my flight was the next day. I contacted them again to complain, and they said they were waiting for me to provide an address (apparently it was difficult to realize it was the same address they had already used to send the other roll). I then asked if they could send the remaining rolls to a friend who will soon travel to my country. I shared her address, but to this day she hasn’t received anything, and I’m also not getting any response when I ask what happened to my negatives. In conclusion: good developing, but terrible logistics. Update: after they replied to my review, they contacted me saying they supposedly sent my negatives to an address of a friend I provided (my friend is traveling soon). I asked for the tracking number so my friend can track the shipment, and I’ve been waiting for a response for a week…
