Nerissa was the most amazing photographer for our family. We booked a session with her as a birthday gift to my father-in-law, to capture some beautiful memories of the kids and grandkids, but we will all cherish these photos for years to come. From the very beginning, communicating with Nerissa was so easy, and she went above and beyond to help us plan out the shoot, give us ideas of what to wear, and find a suitable location. Even though the afternoon was filled with some challenges – changing light with irregular cloud coverage, very cold and windy, children & animals – Nerissa's calm nature and organisation meant that she captured an incredible amount of beautiful photos in a range of scenarios and set ups, from structured to candid – the hardest part was us selecting our favourites! I highly recommend Nerissa if you are considering family photos. Don't wait for the 'perfect' time – I've put off professional family photos for so many years for so many reasons, and I am so, so, so happy with these photos – I was quite emotional when I first saw them, I love them so much! I can't wait to have them printed, framed, and in our home.

We had a great time with Nerissa for our couples/wedding shoot. Beforehand we were afraid that the photoshoot would feel uncomfortable or a bit awkward, but Nerissa made sure that we felt comfortable and gave great tips for beautiful photos. She thought along with our wishes for the shoot and we have beautiful photos as a final result. She was also quickly and easily accessible for questions or consultation and she was patient and took all the time. We were able to capture this beautiful moment with her and are very grateful for the beautiful photos. I would definitely recommend her!!

I had two wonderful photo sessions with Nerissa J Photography. I booked Nerissa for both a maternity session and a newborn session. She was absolutely amazing to work with and I was extremely happy with the fantastic photos she took. Nerissa was very active in her communication in the lead up to both shoots. She has a very warm and friendly personality that made both sessions enjoyable and made my family feel very comfortable. After both photo sessions, she was proactive in making sure I received my final photos very quickly, which I really appreciated.
