I highly recommend Lorna van Hilst Photography. I booked a studio session for my newborn which also included a maternity shoot for my family on location and I could not have been happier with the whole experience. Lorna's studio is beautiful and you feel so welcome and comfortable when you are there. She went to a lot of trouble to plan and prepare for the session, tailoring it to my baby and what I like. The props she used for my baby were absolutely stunning and there were so many beautiful items to choose from. Lorna was so amazingly patient and gentle with my baby girl and really took the time to ensure she got the perfect photo of my baby. She was also very patient with my 3 year old, taking the time to get the perfect sibling and family photo too! I never felt rushed and she was happy for me to stop and feed and do whatever I needed to do throughout the day. I couldn't be happier with the package I chose and my album and prints. The quality is amazing, they are absolutely divine and so beautifully prepared and presented. Lorna has such an eye for detail, she is truly amazing at what she does. I feel so lucky to have such amazing photos that we will treasure as a family forever.

Lorna did an excellent job photographing my 18 day old Son and I couldn’t have wished for anyone better. She was so incredibly gentle with him, settling him when he needed or had the hiccups, gave me time to feed him and change him when needed and made the whole experience pleasant by being friendly and engaging. She took her time and her attention to detail is amazing. The photos have turned out perfectly and the little gift box it comes in is so sweet, the welcome sign in the studio was also a nice touch.
