Where do I begin!? From the very beginning when I reached out to Jo to see if she had our wedding date available, her customer service and communication was great. She oozes this warm, friendly and authentic vibe that made me so happy to have secured her as our photographer. She got back to us promptly, and offered to hold our spot til the end of the week so we could confirm with the venue. Jo isn’t just a photographer, she walked me through and gave me the knowledge and confidence on how to plan the wedding myself. This was so helpful because I was so overwhelmed on where to start in planning our wedding. She suggested other vendors which were all top recommendations, we couldn’t fault any of them! We had an engagement shoot done with her as a practice before the real deal. She made my now husband feel at ease, and we got the most absolutely beautiful engagement photos to share with our family for Christmas. We had a big storm rolling in that we almost got blown away but that didn’t bother Jo in the slightest and we all had so much fun doing it! Jo sent us inspiration ideas and kept in contact regularly in the 11 month lead up to our wedding. She made effort to meet us prior to the wedding to discuss timelines for the day which had a good few tips and tricks to make the day more seamless. This was important to us because it meant we were able to spend more time on the day with our loved ones instead of following a traditional timeline. This was also strategic cost wise because we capture everything that we wanted, including the dance floor, in less time. I spent a lot of time with Jo on my wedding day, and she was such a pleasure to be around. She honestly made my day better and we had so much fun together, it felt like she was one the bridal party and she just slipped right on in. I feel sad the wedding is over but the fond memories will last a lifetime and I will not hesitate to book Jo for my next life event. Oh and also, our photos were incredible, we had so many wondering compliments from our families and friend on how the photographer did such an amazing job!! Thank you Joanne Cook Photography! 🤍

If I could give 6 stars I would! Jo captured our wedding back in July and we’re still mesmerised by the photos. She took the time to get to know us, answered all of our questions and made us feel super comfortable - which is no easy feat for two camera shy people! Words cannot even express how amazing Jo is! I am also terrible with words so here we go We had the absolute honour of having Jo photograph our wedding in August! The communication prior to the wedding was unmatched, Jo would even share video ideas with me for inspo! Come wedding day Jo was professional yet made every one of us feel so comfortable! We first messaged Jo to enquire about wedding photography, and from the first sit down discussion we knew she was the one for us. Jo brings an incredible energy to the room and gives an instant sense of calm and knowledge, we knew our big day was in safe hands! And of course our images were just breath-taking, but she was more than just our photographer. Jo helped with recommendations for other vendors, and was there with us through rescheduling due to COVID, even helping us manage family members and just being a part of team bride (). That was just the start for us with Jo, and she has been on our rollercoaster ride with us ever since. Jo photographed us with our newborn twins, and was incredible once again. She came in to our home and made sure we were comfortable, and captured our incredible newborn love bubble and created art from it. Most recently we hired Jo again to capture the twins first birthday milestone! Jo was flexible with dates, offering multiple options to account for weather, worked timings around kids schedules, and when we turned up with a baby in the middle of a meltdown she was calm, accommodating, and somehow still captured a whole gallery of giggles and love! Jo has never made us feel like we’re staging a pose, or in the company of a stranger, simply guiding us to the best location and position and then just being there while we feel at home, kids laughing and appreciating our little family. We have an assortment of our photos printed on our walls at home and everyone comments on how great they are. Cannot recommend Jo enough!
