We used Dane recently to photograph our wedding. When looking for photographers, it was really important to us to avoid the appearance of staged photos. After going through tons of options, we really liked the candid, natural feel of his portfolio and after a zoom meeting with him, it became very clear that he was the man for the job. He was responsive, really reasonably priced and really just a genuinely lovely guy. We knew he was the one. We got married in Orange so it meant he would have to travel to be with us on the day. He came to the house prior to the wedding to capture us getting ready. It was a morning ceremony so we put him to work early. He was punctual and sociable with the wedding party, everyone loved him. The day was perfect and to be honest, he was largely invisible the whole day. At one stage I was wondering whether he had been there for large chunks of it. A concern which I now realise was ridiculous. At the end of the day he had set up a little table of photographs he had somehow printed while we were enjoying our reception, they were gorgeous and such a suprise. When he delivered our images, it was so clear that he really understood the brief. He captured so many candid moments we had no idea he was even there for. There were so many prints and were a beautiful mix of heart-warming, artistic, hilarious and unique. Not to mention the fact that he had the photos delivered in a little box complete with some selected prints, candles with holders and instructions on how to have the most perfect viewing experience. We can without reservation recommend Dane for photographing your special occasion. He was professional, worked his butt off and somehow felt more like a member of the wedding party rather than a photographer. As I said to Dane, his talent doesn't just lie in photography but time travel! He absolutely captured the very essence of our wedding day. The images we recived are the most beautiful time capsule of the day and we are eternally grateful. He seeks out emotion and bottles the moment. WOW WOW WOW! Words can not describe the fantastic service this man delivers. Dane is an absolute professional shown from day 1. Upon meeting him we knew he was going to be perfect for our special day as he felt like a friend rather than a stranger.
