Charlie spent a couple of days with our company, photographing our conference and awards gala dinner. Watching him work, I realised it takes a lot more than technical skill to make a brilliant photographer – someone who manages to always be in the right place at the right time but is never in the way, whose chilled demeanour makes people look happy and relaxed in their photos, and someone who is an absolute delight to spend time with. Of course, the final test is the photographs themselves, and we couldn't be happier with the results. If only we had the budget to fly Charlie around the country for all our events!
